anyone else trying out OS X 10.7 LION

Post by Stickygreen »

So i installed OS X 10.7 Lion, most everything seems to work for me, Resolume installs and runs fine, DXV codec works.

my main issue - I cannot enter my Resolume Avenue serial number..?

everytime i enter the serial resolume tells me Unable to write to file/Library/Application Support/Resolume Avenue 3/registration/Registration.av

also it looks like Quartz Composer is not going to be a free add on with your Install dist, the Xcode Tools will now have to be purchased on the App store, it's only $5.00 but still.... used to be free.
If anyone is interested i tried to install the older version of Xcode tools 3.2.1 and the Lion OS will not run it. aparently you need Xcode tools 4.

This can be fixed by repairing the disk permissions with the disk utility.

According to this German VJ, Resolume actually runs (way) faster on OS X 10.7 Lion so I'm excited to try it out!

Works okay.

Graphic Card choices still remains limited compared to Windows Platform

Example: My brand new , GTX590 card works on Windows , but when booting to Mac OS its a no go.

the GTX590 is a dual gpu card... i think there are no official drivers for it, or is sli/crossfire osx compatible?

This did not work for me.

I have had contact with Joris via Email, he said my license limit has been bumped (whatever that means) after that I tried to input the license again, and I get the same error message.

I think there might be a registration issue that needs to be looked at with 10.7

I'm also running Lion on one system now and this has not worked for me either. Would it make a difference if I am running the 64bit kernel instead of 32?
