Re: questions...
first you might want to use a better descriptive title, or you won't get people looking at your thread..
yes all this can be done with Resolume, you will need a desktop machine, no laptop can handle that many screen yet. Either a PC, or Macpro with enough video outputs to support all your sceens, and a decent CPU, RAM, GPU will be required.
this isn't really beginner stuff, unless you've got a decent budget behind you.

Re: questions...
thanks for the reply...
for the project i am working for, i would need surround video. it is an audio visual art piece.
i will most likely finish the work on my laptop and rent all of the equipment (computers, projectors, etc.) for the show.
can one sync 2 or 3 separate computers and have them all play in sync?

Hey mg75,
you want to use 4 outs with different content, playing in sync plus one Resolume operator screen!?
So...in total 5 Screens!
I would not recommend u to build and finish your show on a laptop!
Build your show with the computers u are going to rent...u will be able to realize and find problems and bugs in your composition directly.
U need 5 outs...so there a couple of ways..here is one:
Equip:
- PC Computer with 2 graphic cards. Each card should have 2 DVI or VGA outs.
- 1x Matrox dual/tripple head 2 Go analog or digital

And there u are!
Yes, there is a possibility to trigger 2 or more Resolume computers to realize a sync-"START" via network/osc.. but... this setup will be more expensive then the Matrox configuration.
One important hint:
I don't really know how long clips stay sync to each other (@Resolume: how long?)...even if u only use one computer.....u have to test it!
