Matrox MX02 Mini

I have asked this question elsewhere on the forum but will start a new post.

I take it no one has got the MX02 Mini to work with Resolume on Windows?

This is something I would like to do for an event in a few weeks and so far in testing, Resolume sees the MX02 as a source but does not display anything.
There is no way to change the input settings for the MX02 in Resolume so I assume that it is based on the config in the programs supplied with the MX02 driver files?

I noticed on Vades video that on the Mac in Resolume it lists the source as different resolutions where in Windows it just lists as Matrox A/V input

I managed to get the MX02 working by accident!!!

I gave up on pulling the output of another computer into Resolume via the MX02 and tested a few programs to see if I could transfer it in via a network.
On of these programs I tried is the Enosoft DV processor http://www.enosoft.net/index.htm which I messed around for ages trying to get it to work but with no luck.
The results of this is that it gave me some virtual sources in Resolume, one of which is called the Enosoft Virtual DV Renderer. I clicked on the settings for this source (in Resolume) and it came up with the Matrox A/V settings, with which I was able to select the HDMI input and it just worked.

Not sure why it is working (I am now using the DV renderer as my source in Resolume) but it works and that is all that matters!

That sounds very good! What machine do you use, anything special? And is it matrox mx02 or matrox mx02 mini? (but should not make a big difference..)

Please be more specific on what type of network you are talking about and what were the procedures on Enosoft to be able to see the DV renderer on the other machine.
Is this a direct compter to computer network? Wireless connection? (doubt that one).
That might be the solution I am looking for.
Please give us so more info.

Please note I did not manage to get video networking between two computers working.

I had been trying to get a Matrox MX02 to work as a capture source (on Windows XP) but wasn't able to get the source settings to show in Resolume, so couldn't change to the HDMI input.
I gave up on the MX02 and started playing with the Ensoft software for some time without any luck.
I loaded Enosoft Virtual DV Renderer as a source in Resolume and it loaded the input settings for the MX02!!!
I was then able to configure the MX02 and use that as a HDMI capture source so I didn't play any further with the Ensoft software.

Since posting last I have installed the MX02 drivers on Windows 7 and it works fine so there was no need for the workaround as with my XP build.

Not great if you want to do computer to computer video network but great if you own an MX02...

I to just tried my MXO2 on a PC running Win 7 64 bit, and the MXO2 does indeed capture vid via the HDMI input, but i noticed latency was not as acceptable as I would have hoped for.

I had tried the MXO2 and averTV expressHD, too much delay. The BMD Intensity Shuttle works good it you have usb3 (and a chipset that works with the shuttle).
