Post by cosmowe »

Hallo everybody,
can someone recommend me a consumer or semipro projector wich makes a large picture on a short projector to wall distance?!

there are interesting models from Benq (2500-3500 lumens, 800x600 or 1024x768) , and also saw an Optoma (3200 lumens, 1280x800). They always have an "ST" in their product name, which means "short throw". I think these models are affordable and okay so far. (They have no Filters to clean but other projectors in this price class also don't have Filters).

there are surely other Manufactors too (think acer also has an "ST"-series), but the most interesting models i think are the benq mx613st and optoma EW605st

also looks very nice, but have no experience with infocus.
The best case you can have is to know a person who can service/clean your beamer ;)

from the manufacturer's pdf:
projection distance 0,75 m - 1,65 m
projection size 1,23 m - 2,7 m

I don't know if these are min/max values but it's quite small, isn't it?

U MUST LESEN! not me :p
just compare the wide range models u think which are in budget...
maybe a bigger, heavyer beamer is better for installations - just a thought ;)

Yes große projector super is! But recht expensive! We will sehen..... perhaps at the end it MUST be a Barco oder Christie with changeable lenses.
