what's the best compression for .avi files?

I try all premiere compressions but in the resolume show lines.
How can I repare this problem?

sounds like you are having interlace issues - use the "deinterlace" function when rendering clips - check the forums for best codecs - personally i suggest PIC mjpeg or similar mjpeg
