some plugins imported, some not

when importing compositions from avenue 3 - extra plugins like mapio and iua plugins show in the composition. however, iua plugins work but doesnt show in the effects loader list and mapio doesnt work and doesnt show in the effects loader list.

You are 100% sure you have set the correct paths to the plugins on the Video tab of the Preferences?

oops, forgot to do that! works fine when ive done it

i ( stupidly ) assumed that as it loads up the effects on an old composition that it would import the effects too... i was wrong!

Avenue will try to load the plugin even when the paths are not set, but that's a fail safe solution, setting up the right paths is the right thing todo.
