Korg NanoPad

Post by noskael »

Hey everybody,

I knew this topic was discussed already but I could not solve my problem.

Yesterday my nanopad and nanokontrol arrived, the kontrol works perfectly and i love to use it.
At the same time my nanopad does not work. It is shown in resolume but when I try to map it - there is no input.
Both controllers are on different usb-channels and the korg driver is installed.

I'm sorry but everything about midi and this stuff is really new to me, so if you think this is a stupid question just give me an answer and laugh about it...

Try using the Korg Editor app, and making sure you are sending midi notes, and not midi cc values, that usually solves the issue.

Also, there are no stupid questions, but it helps if you let us know what you are trying to do exactly. 'It doesn't work' doesn't tell us much. Please tell us the steps you are taking, and where it's going wrong.

Hey,

i connect the nanopad to my pc - open the kontrol editor and switch The Register "CC/Note Number 1" to "MIDI-Channel" and then i save this correction. After that i open resolume 3 to map the Nanopad - Under the register "Adjustments" the nanokontrol and the nanopad are listed and "midi-input" is chosen. Then i open the mapping-option for midi. The kontrol works perfectly but when i try to map the 12 pad's of the nanopad nothing works (but the "touchscreen" is able to map, it is shown by 7/2).

Thanks for your help!

Edit: When I re-open my savings, the correction is gone and "CC/Note Number 1" is listed again - should I do more corrections than just that?
