Madmapper/Syphon/Layers

Hello PEEPS!!! I have a question that I do not know if it is a question or bug.

Here is what I want to do. I want to use madmapper on one layer. I but syphon server in the layer 1 effects window. I go to madmapper and set up a triangle get the video running through madmapper. now the video is running through in the triangle only. I set up my layer transitions. I start the next clip and the chops up and comes in and out and previous clip does not go through the transition and when adder finishes the next clip comes up.

Can this be done, syphon on a layer, and fill the masked area with a separate layers video?

I'm sorry but I don't understand this part. Are you talking about the auto transitions in Resolume 4?

yes. the auto transition in resolute 4. the layer video with syphon server runs with the mask made with mad mapper, yet I do not know how to get the other layers running on the full screen of the composition.

I am really not that good at articulating problems and converting into words. I am off tomorrow, so I will use screen flow and capture the Resolume 4 screen with how I found the issue and I will capture the output screen at the end so you can see what I am talking about.

Hello, from what I understand from the original post, I seem to be having a similar problem:

The auto-transition that works well in Resolume doesn't work correctly when it is syphoned in Madmapper.
In the video, the clips are triggered through a midi trigger, but it's all the same however i do it. I don't understand what is wrong. Please help, Dani.

Since you're using the Syphon Server effect on the layer, it's applied before the transition in the render chain. In other words, the image of the layer gets sent to Syphon before the transition is applied to it.

Just route your layer to a slice in the advanced output and then use the native Syphon output instead.

It works verry well now. Instaid of managing syphoned layers in Madmapper, now I am managing syphoned screens from advanced output. Thanks a lot!
