Hi there, please let me understand where you assign the 20 channels on the uc-33e. Do you assign them to the knobs? to the sliders?
There's nothing on the uc-33e that makes me remind the screen of my laptop with resolume going.
Or do you use the uc-33 only to control the effects, and the kayboard to control the loops in the channels?
i'm sure that is a great midi controller for resolume, but i can't figure out how.
Thanks.

you trigger things (like clips in the 20 channels or effects) with the keys.
With the sliders and knobs you control things like speed, opacity and effects settings and you cn scratch with em.
double click on an effect to 'teach' resolume what key to bind with that effect. Other midi settings can be teached through 'preferences'

good luck

I also got my uc-33 yesterday and got it configured like this:

I devided the 24 rotate buttons in 3 rows of 8,
using each row to control a different layer (1st = opacity, 2nd = speed, 3rd = timeline knob, 4th-7-th are effect controls and the 8th is the opacity of the effect

I assign movies with the keyboard of my laptop to the layers and use the buttons in the bottom right of the uc33 for switching between active layers

I use 5 big sliders for global effect settings + opacity of the global effect,

not sure were I'm gonna use the other 3 for, I think masking

but I was wondering how I can load channels with the 0-9 numpad,
or maybe effects?

and how do I assign an effect to a channel, with a shortcut on the uc-33 ?

I really need help on this,

thx
