Master opacity and syphon

Saturday during a gig, when I Fadeout the master opacity nothing happens, the output (Syphon server to madmapper) still going on. Only fading out the 3 layers opacity I had the Fade out.

This was with beta 1.

Are you talking about the FadeOut parameter in the Composition Properties or the Master Output fader in the top left of the interface?

Yes the master fade is applied to the end result of the rendering, so everything including effects is rendered and than faded out. So yes the plugin still receives the original image, this is how it supposed to work. Maybe adding another plugin before your Syphon plugin that can do a fade the output be an idea. Or just stop use MadMapper and use Arena

Hi Edwin,

Of the last 4 mapping giggs that I have, 3 have been about triangles. Arena does not support triangles and Madmapper does...
I hope triangles are in your todo-list...
