Maximum lenght of the clip

Post by Veks »

Hello,

I am curious, what is the maximum lenght of the imported clip?

Theoretically, there shouldn't be a maximum. My current record is a clip of 53m and 45s.

Is this for new version? I brought animation of 4 minutes duration to VJ and Resolume didn't want to import (or was something simillar issue). Maybe because the file was in HD resolution? So he had to cut the animation in several pieces.

If you're having problems importing a particular file, this more likely has to do with the codec or fileformat rather than the length or resolution. What codec are you using?

Yes, we recommend against using both actually. We suggest using Quicktime .movs with our own DXV codec: http://www.resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8768
