my midi connection ... am i doing something wrong ?

hey guys I've got

which is on my macbook (with resolume) can't seem to get them to work ... don't even know if theres a simple way to test a connections been made ...

any help would be greatly apreciated

have you selected the relevant in's and out's in the avenue preferences?

in the ap you are sending from, is the right midi output selected? ( what are you sending from?)

in avenue, enter a midi assignment mode, select a control and then send a midi note from the other computer - does it register next to the aselected control in avenue?
