Hello everybody.
I'm very new and we are testing resolume now, to get it to work how we want.
I'm having a problem with my video output.
On the left i don't see any output when i double click a videofile.
Normally the edge of the videofile turn yellow, but that doesn't happen.
I only can click it to see a preview.
Can anybody help me ?
With Kindly Regards,
John

Hi janbackx001,
and welcome!

This left?
And if you meant your Output display...you have to enable your output in Resolume first.

Re: output video
But the yellow bar within the video file doesn't "countdown" eather.
Re: output video
Ahhhhhhhh....okay. Now I know what's wrong. Let me guess....you are using Footage with audio included!?
Just go to the clip properties and switch from BPM Sync to Timeline. The video should run now.
Some time ago I had a similar problem....Hmmm.....but your video should even run with activated BPM Sync.
- Make sure that you choosed a Soundcard in the audio settings.
Does your Resolume beatcounter count any beats?
Did you used a external midiclock before now?

Re: output video
if the clip has audio... you can "close" the audio property in clip panel... so the audio should'nt be processed.
also the bpm counter won't work if no soundcard is selected!

Re: output video
John,
Good morning. I might have a solution for you! I just purchased Resolume 3 and it also came with version 4 beta. Anyway, version 3 worked fine on my machine but when I installed version 4, nothing appeared in teh output window until I looked in the prefernce window and selected "video". In that box there is an option to turn off something like advanced effects and it says your system will run much faster with this option turned off. As soon as I turned that option off, the output window started working!
Give that a try and see what happens.
Thanks
Joe
