Hue rotate mapping error when using Traktor S4 controller

Post by VjCtrldChaos »

Hey guys,

Totally loving the new features in the update.

In resolume avene 3 i am able to map the right jogwheel of the S4 controller to the hue rotate of the "hue rotate" effect.

however in resolume 4 arena, when i do this it automatically maps to the "hue scale" the slider above the "hue rotate" slider. this does it every time i try to map the hue rotate.

I use this as a composition effect if i need to change colour palate to match the LX in venue

this pretty much causes the image to just saturate or desaturate. I have tried plenty of times trying to map the individual sliders and it all has the same result. Really haven't been able to play with the beta much as this is a show dealbreaker at the moment. is there a workaround that i can use to get it to function as it was in Res3?

Also Res4Beta also takes a LONG time to load on my ASUS G73 laptop. we're talking close to 10 mins load time. even on my tower (intel 990X, ati 5970, 12Gb 2000MHz HyperX RAM) it still takes a few minutes to boot in as opposed to avenue 3 which was close to instant.

This sounds like there is an issue with a midi mapping made on R3 with the old Hue Rotate affecting the new Hue Rotate. Can you try it with a blank composition and cleared midi map, and a newly applied hue rotate effect?

rebuilt the effects in the final release Resolume 4.0 and now works fine.

Cheers guys!
