I use two webcams, with different capturedrivers, one is 640x480 with 30 fps, the other is 400x something with 25 fps.

For input I use the capture drivers, not petes live input 1 & 2-

I have a laptop of 2.6 ghz with 512 mb mem - and a clean HD.
But the error also occurs on my XPC shuttle 3.0 ghz with 1500mb mem.

2 cams:
It works with resolume, quite well, but sometimes it happens that one cam crashes. And then the installed drivers of this particular cam are lost, and should be installed again.
The error concludes something about same drivers/usb rate full....
(happens on all resolutions/outputs in resolume)

I ve read somewhere that the error occurs because of a conflict between the USB host Cotrollers. But is it so?

So maybe with two different PCI-usb slots/ different usb host controllers that it should work fine. Does anyone has it? Or knows how it works?
Thnx

Please help me out!!

Well if I look at the topics, there are some people using 3 WEBCAMS! even on USB/ on a slower laptop! HOW?
(or do they just think it works in theory, I never theorize...I just live in reality :P

My laptop will recognize two drivers, never 3, even if the cams have different cap-drivers etc. If I put the third in it, or even te second, (before I start resolume/ it will crash.

I also used it with a DV-cam but the framerate really sucks, is even worse than cheap webcam..wicked

Yeah, it finally works now.
I think I have 2 be more patient while the camera drivers initialize in WinXP, sometimes it takes a minute or more. It is because I use a USB-Cable longer than 5 metres.

tnx anyway guys
