OSC faders bug?

Post by v.j.YOSH »

resolume is ignoring my request not to output OSC values on faders...
I go to the OSC map and check-out the box OSC OUTPUT for faders 1-4 and also in the "focus:layer" mode, i disable the osc output for active layer and it's still outputting values...i also tried to change the value its outputting to something that doesn't exist and still it moves faders 1-4 in the slave computer...

Now it seams the disable function works only on the active layer...

Also, by default, everything, including the transport control is being transmitted using OSC, which make it almost impossible to control the other computer by decision...everything including everything is being changed all the time. maybe you'll enable the user to select what it is he wants to control and by default disable everything?

Hey,

please put this issue on the todolist ;)
We also use a Master/slave setup and we need just two layers to play exactly the same clips.

Checking the osc output disable box doesnt change anything.
I checked it on all elements in the osc mapping for the layer as well as for the application and still the slave arena pc does a 1:1 mirror of the master.

A button to disable all osc out on all elements would be nice too ;)

This is the first time I've heard of this, and can recreate 100%. Thanks for letting us know.

We did find some additional OSC addresses that could not be disabled, but it would be helpful if you could let us know which messages are still being sent.

This has been requested a few times now, and on the to-do list.
