autopilot not working

I'm using the clip autopilot settings to sequence some clips and I get inconsistent behaviour. I had a set of four clips set to trigger one after the other and it was all fine but suddenly it's stopped working. I've tried resetting the autopilot and setting it again to no avail. I have another sequence set up on the same layer which is working fine yet I've tried sequencing a different set of clips on the same layer and they are not working at all.
I've tried copying the clips to a different layer and it still doesn't work. Any clues about why this might be?

I know there was a bug relating to this. I think its going to be fixed on 4.1.

There are a few things which can 'interfere' with the autopilot. For instance each clip can have its own autopilot settings, and the clip target can influence the autopilot behaviour as well. Can you check if the problematic clips have any different settings applied to them?
