Lemur connection

Post by onbepaald »

Hi there,

I set up an excisting lemur template with resolume 4.0. When i'm chanching parameters(buttons/faders etc) in resolume it syncs with my lemur template on my ipad. When i'm doing it the different way, nothing happens in resolume. With OSC Target on my lemur interface I filled in the target(ip adress) of my host, with the port the osc imcoming port of resolume(in preferences). Does anybody know what could be wrong? I really don't know...

Grtz,
Jasper

Hi Jasper,

hmm.. I know it's like asking "is it attached to a power source" at a PC helpdesk, but do you use the same OSC target in your script/template? You should also check if there is any firewall blocking your IP traffic (and maybe double-check the IP of your computer)
I'm not sure, but I think in 4.0 there was the OSC "bundle" option for in- and outgoing OSC messages, have you tried to endable/disable it?

cheers,
Rene

Thanks Rene. I'll check it! Still a 'junior member' so it could be the solution for me ;)
I'll keep you posted.

It looks like you had the solution for me. I had to check the 'bundles' option. I thought I tried it before but now it works :) Thanks a lot man! Grtz from a newbie ;)

If you update to version 4.0.1, it will detect bundles automagically for the incoming OSC signal.

Very well then! :)

Should we try to collect/ merge templates? I think templates will be very diverse, depending on how someone uses Resolume, anyhow knowledge exchange could be extremely helpful.
