Hi all
I've read that there is not enough interest in a Linux port, the code is qt so is not such big effort, but I understand.
Anyways, a port of the codec (closed source) would be nice, I'm interested, really interested in being able to play quicktime DXV encoded files in linux. A library to integrate it in ffmpeg or quicktime4linux would do the trick.
There is any option you may consider this ?
Thanks
Linux DXV Codec
Re: Linux DXV Codec
The hardware accelerated playback of DXV in Resolume is one of our unique selling points, in which we invested a lot of time and money. So for the time being, we are not going to make hardware accelerated playback available in other applications or operating systems.
Re: Linux DXV Codec
Thanks for your answer
I understand that DXV is your selling point, but We would like to negotiate a reasonable fee for the licences. We would like to use it as a codec for one of our products.
