Does Arena Knows how to use a cuda core?

Post by Leo Souza »

Hi all,

I have made some stressing tests with arena and GTX 460m And it seems that Arena uses GPU in a way that the graphics card crashes when using the GPU Core at 60% more than 30 minutes.

It is not the temperature cause it is low than 65ºC.
Other programs does not crashes in this same condition. For example premiere pro uses GPU core above 90% and it is ok for hours.

Does any one knows something about that?

Cuda is a GPGPU protocol for processing information on the GPU which would normally be handled on the CPU. Resolume does not have many CPU processes, so we do not use GPGPU extensively.

If you are having crashes, they are most likely related to something else, and it's best to contact us with your log file.
