That's not such a bad idea actually ;)

One thing you could possibly run into, is how do you expect the autopilot to function with this?

maybes have auto pilot just on one deck or the other? nice idea though :)

Locked-layer and/or dual-deck would be great additions to Resolume. Another use for them would be a mask bank; regardless of your loaded deck you could always have access to masks built for your current projection.

Suggestion: Have the autopilot independent from the decks, much like you can (or at least could - been a few years since I DJ:ed...) have a playlist with autofade independent from the decks in some DJ-softwares.

If this is possible without rewriting everything... :-)
