hey guys

it's been a while so I thought I'll point you to a little design issue I have quite a lot using Arena. When I highlight text — like the address pattern in OSC mapping — I can hardly differentiate the selected from the unselected text. Could you just lighten that color up a bit please?

Oh and while I am at it a very annoying bug with the new MBP Retina. When I click on a slider using the touch pad, the value will jump to some "near" value. Meaning that when "rotate x" is set to 2 and I click the slider, it will jump to 0. I don't know if it is a problem with the new MBP or Arena but I haven't seen this behavior in other applications such as MAX/MSP.

Really? It's that bad for you? The highlight is 25% brighter than the background, should be enough to distinguish it on most monitors.

This is expected behaviour actually. When you click anywhere on a slider, it will jump to the value you clicked. So jumping from 2 to 0 on a scale of 360 is very well possible.

ah, I see it is a problem with the »composition preferences« dialog. the text-boxes for name, description and size already have a lighter bg-color. could you just darken that up a bit. I found myself double clicking on the resolution especially more often than I thought was necessary because I thought the number wasn't selected to just type and replace it. I know it is not a big deal but something that really bugs me a lot … if you got time

I see what you mean. The reason I click on the slider is often to bring up the arrow-dialog to dial in the values I am looking for. So maybe being able to click into the value field left to the slider and changing the values via the arrow keys on the keyboard is what I am looking for. and by increments of 10 with the shift-key pressed just like in other apps. call it a feature-request
