No Audio

Hi there
I am having problems getting video with embedded audio to play the audio. I think i have the correct codex (downloaded from Resolume site) and have tried converting files to MOV and AVI. The demo clips that come with the programme do play audio. can you help?

I know that i can solve the problem by importing Audio and video separatly but this will complicate my projects.

This is most likely a problem with the audio compression you are using in your clips. We recommend using Linear PCM, 44.1 KhZ (cd quality).

thank you for your reply, sorry I am quite new at this, can you recommend a programe that can convert my clips to the formate you have suggested ?

MPEG Streamclip, QT Amateur, Adobe Media Encoder, any video conversion program should do really.

Do a search for 'converting video' on this forum, should yield a lot of results.
