the documentation states:
"You configure every layer to automatically start the first clip when the composition has loaded. This is very handy for installations where Resolume needs to start playing clips automatically in combination with the Auto Pilot."
But it only works when you first load the composition, could it be possible for the autostart to also work when switching decks? or better still have an auto switch decks feature
automatically start the first clip
Re: automatically start the first clip
I've had sucsess with using DMX to send timed cues to Resolume.
Re: automatically start the first clip
Also, when the autopilot is on, the first clip of the new deck is triggered after switching.
Re: automatically start the first clip
I've just found out that it has a random behaviour.
If I have a clip playing on layer 1 (having the layer set to launch first clip) and I select a deck which has a "video" clip on the first cell of layer 1 then it works. It the clip happens to be a quartz patch it never triggers.
Also if the first clip in the deck happens to be on layer 2 (also set to launch first clip) it doesn't work either...

Re: automatically start the first clip
Are you sure the autopilot is on for layer two? Also, there needs to be a clip playing in layer two in order for the autopilot to kick in.
BTW, this autopilot behaviour is completely separate from 'trigger first clip when composition has loaded'
