Post by bh_rat18 »

Hi,
I'm bharat from India

I'm using Resolume from long time now i have arena 4 but all these years i was using with my laptop and mouse

Now i'm looking for hardware controller which can trigger resolume arena 4
Is there any specific hardware made for R4 only

I heard about apc 40 and korg midi controller...so it gonna be conncet with USB? is it gonna sync with dj mixer ?

I also heard about Numark nuvj but it only supports Grand Vj

So i m just confused please suggest me guide me which gonna better for me and ya looking for low budget

Thanks

There are a load of options when it comes to controllers and there has been many discussions.

I personally use the APC 20 as it suits my needs but I may be upgrading to the APC 40.

Its very popular with Resolume uses but it will depend on how you play.

Do you have a specific budget in mind? :)

personally i would say APC 40. in Avenue 4 & Arena you have 8 dials on the dashboard and these correspond to the rotary knobs in the program. of course other midi controllers have similar features but with the APC's 8x8 matrix, additional buttons and a cross fader, I think its built really well for resolume and its also a good solid controller! that's my rant over!
numark nuvj
i have never used this so cannot say - looks good though.

if your getting a slow down then a midi controller would help performance. what slow downs are you experiencing?

Slow means when I play clips fast because I click individual clips with mouse and suddenly
My application resolume get stuck it hangs for few seconds
