is it possible to save a composition key map?
I want to assign Spacebar to the Tap tempo button but i have to map it everytime i close and reopen Avenue. Is there a way to save a preset of the composition key map?
I am using Resolume Avenue 4 on a windows 7 platform
How to save a composition Key Map?
Re: How to save a composition Key Map?
I would rather suggest to make it an application key mapping. So works for all you compositions.
Anyhow if you save your composition (CTRL+S) the mapping should be saved in the composition too. (At least that's what I would expect)

Re: How to save a composition Key Map?
I was having the same problem.
I could map MIDI sliders and rotary controls but if I tried to assign keyboard mapping or single MIDI on/off buttons it would lose them when I re-opened the software.
I'd set a flip to to 'Z' on my keyboard and it would work fine, until I closed and reopened the software [or comp].
On reopening resolume, the mapping would say that the 'Z' key was assigned to flip but it had no effect.
I realised that when you exit the comp, it kind of 'double saves' the mapping, I discovered this because when you go to 'clear shortcut', [after reopening the software] you would have to click it twice to set it back to an empty state.
I think it was cancelling itself out: 'Z' is being pressed twice, so results in nothing changing.
The base problem, I think, was that when you map anything, it didn't clear any previous information, just sticks it on top of any other mapping that has been assigned.
When trying to clear MIDI mapped controls I would have to 'clear shortcut' around 20 times to get it back to an empty state.
But then I saw there is a 4.1.1 version, I installed that, and now it works fine.
So that's good.
