BPM capture from audio in

Post by linney368 »

The posibility to capture BPM form audio in would be a great asset for me in some situations where I can not get midi clock from the sound guys.

I know you can tap, but this would make life a lot easier.

Thinking along the lines of the technology employed by Pioneer on their DJM600 mixer

A work around... I use every job.

Audio -> KaossPad3 -> midiclock via usb -> Resolume
Also a Soundbite Micro instead of a KP3 also does an fantastic Job.

Still working with the Soundbite Micro...always carrying a Midi Interface. And it works pretty slow reacting (Play Stop / Push Pull), No visual feedback. Its a nice tool. But its a piece of software... why not implement in Resolume directly ?
