funny dashboard knob behaviour

some of my dashboard knobs seem to go crazy (toggle) when 'invert' is checked.

1) open a new composition
2) drag the Add Subtract video FX to an empty clip slot (there should be enough of them)
3) unfold the dashboard knobs in the effect clip's tab
4) connect one parameter of the FX (e.g. 'R') to Link 1 (I drag 'n droped)
5) change the value of the knob (everything but the center position)
6) enable the invert checkbox at the video FX's parameter

do you see strange things?
