switch between 2 different projection mapping situations

Post by denkertje »

I have to deal with a situation that for half of the show my out is split up over 3 screens(that need to be mapped on 3 physical screen) and the other half of the show my outside screen split-up and rotate so I have to deal with 5 screens.

In resolume area it easy to either get the 3 screen situation or the 5 screen situation mapped out in the output>advanced section but would there be an easy way to switch between the 2?

In other words is there a way to fade/switch between 2 different projection mapping situations?

The only way I come up with is use keystone and keystone crop on the layers and then switch between the layers.
Kind of works but not an ideal situation. Is there a better way?

Yes, using the presets of advanced output.

Thanks
Yes a hard switch is then possible, allthough I dont really feel happy about having to go into the presets of the advances settings in the middle of a show.
Still would much prefer to fade between the two mapping situations. Any other idea"s?

Layer 1 - 3 screens and layer 2 - 5 screens
