Does anyone tested the Grass Valley ADVC-hd50 for capture?

I would live to buy the capture card ADVC-HD50, because my Macbook Pro do not have thunderbolt but before I buy it, I would like your feed back. This card is hdmi and I will be receiving and sdi signal that I will convert to hdmi. Any suggestions?

you'd be better off finding a capture device that utilizes the expresscard slot, if you have one on your macbook pro.
