Hi All,
So I'm looking to build a new PC and Im considering starting with a barebones kit. Here are a couple kits Ive been eyeing.

Id like to keep the total system cost (not incl peripherals) under $1500 when all is said and done.
Though Id like the option to do 4 or more outputs in the future I'm fine with getting cheaper card now that would still allow me to maintain good fps while having 4 or 5 layers w/ fx and such but using only 2 outputs (IE: 1 for UI 1 for projector). Oh and it would also act as my Music DAW but from my experience specs built to vj or video editing standards are more than enough for music production.
Any advice for a kit around that budget or experience from anyone who has used a barbones kit would be appreciated.
Barebones purchase Advice
Re: Barebones purchase Advice
What resolution do you want these 5 layers to be playing at?
The second one is slightly better GPU wise. Notice that there is no hard drive mentioned in the pack. Grabbing a 1TB drive and 120GB ssd are more important then the slight difference in video cards.

Re: Barebones purchase Advice
Thanks for the response. I opted out on the barebones kit. I ended up getting a PC from IBUYPOWER. I decided that I already have enough hobbies and dont want to add pc builder to that list. Its in route. Went with I5 instead and to save some money for my sound card.
