It would be great if you could set the duration of a still image to be "1 beat", "2 beats", "4 beats" etc, so that the duration will adjusted dynamically with bpm. That would allow you to use auto-pilot effectively with a set of still image clips in a layer.
If I am missing something and/or there is some other way to make a still image play for the length of a beat, please let me know!

Re: beat-based duration for still images
I convert the images to mov-files with 1 frame
then bpm on the transport-mode of the clip to the beats that you want

then bpm on the transport-mode of the clip to the beats that you want

And I make my own butter out of the milk from my neighbours cow.....but it would be cool to buy butter at the store in my town.... but they don't sell butter!
..hmmm

Re: beat-based duration for still images
Not quite like buying butter from the store but an easier work around would be to have a generic short wav file that you can drop onto your images.

Re: beat-based duration for still images
you can also try calculating the ms that one beat lasts
(makes only sense if you don't switch bpm speed)
btw. would be nice being able to control the image duration via osc!
