hello,

I'm a light technician and like resolume arena.
I use a special build pc as a media server.

specs:
Intel Desktop Board DX79SI 2011 X79
Intel Core i7-3930K 3.2GHz 12MB
Kingston HyperX 16GB 2133MHz DDR3
Samsung SSD
2x Club3D Radeon HD 7870 1000MHz 2GB
Gigabyte Radeon HD 6450 512MB GDDR3
VISIONTGB-PRO2 card 2 channel VGA/RBB capture card PCI
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional

I use the server in combination with a chamsys light mixer
and most of the time I use multiple layers and decks.
This means that the preview monitor gets very small.
So I ask to inplement the option for a sepparated output preview screen.

The resolume window is also limited in hight.
I want to stretch the window over 2 screens that are stacked.
So I get a window with a resolution of 1920 x 2160 spread over 2 screens (1920 x 1080 each).
The result is that the top screen contains the clips and the bottom screen displays the "composition, layer and clip" tab.

I hope my questions are clear.

I like the idea of having a separate preview program monitor. As a video tech I often use small sdi monitors to preview with.

The main output is easily done with the Advanced Out. We just need a Preview Source in the Advanced Output
