One of the main advantages of using a forum over a chat, email or telephone support service, is that provided solutions stay visible, so people who experience the same problem can also benefit from it, even months down the road.

Judging by some of the conversations on the VJforums facebook page ( where sometimes it can take 20+ messages of well intended but misguided advice before someone actually comes up with a valid answer to even the simplest questions ), I don't think a chat is going to be helpful solution for immediate problems.

If you're really in a pinch and need immediate support, you can always email us.

Now if you guys wanted a chat to exchange funny cat pictures, I'd be +1 all over this...

Joris,
I understand your thoughts and I agree with most of it.
I requested the chat because the Forum has been not very responsive to me lately.
I had three posts missing answers.
One of them I had to delete myself, so I realized that after one week without any answer, wouldn´t be usefull anylonger.
The other two are still up and I know we have good and professional VJs capable of helping. So far, no one did.
One of the questions is not even a VJ technique, but an Arena thing - about its functionality. Not even you answered.
That´s it.
