MIDI Mapping Beatloopr with APC40

Post by manmantis »

I am in the process of trying to map my Ableton Live set to Resolume, so that when I trigger samples I also trigger clips, and the Ableton effects engage effects in Resolume. I have the scene launch buttons on my APC 40 mapped in Ableton to a beat repeat effect, and am trying to map those same buttons to the Beatloopr increments in Resolume. I was able to map the buttons so that they engage Beatloopr. I have the buttons mapped with the "Piano" option selected. When I push one of the buttons, the corresponding Beatloopr increment turns on, but it stays on. When I push the same button after that it turns Beatloopr off for as long as I hold the button down, then it returns to the previously selected increment (2 beats, for example.) Basically I want the Beatloopr to engage when the button is pressed, and return to off when the button is released. I am running Ableton 9 and Resolume 4 on a 2006 Macbook Pro with a 2.6 Intel CoreDuo. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
