Frame Drop on Simple Comp

Post by zuvassin »

Hey Guys.... I Need help, or at least somes clues

I've got a good machine :
I7 - SSD Disk - A good AM graphic Card and 4 GB RAM...
All freshly installed ...

THe machine has :
Resolume 4.1.6
quicktime
and DXV Codec
and a CS6 master suite ...

The aim of the project is to play a clip in sync with an Ableton .
THe sync is ok.

but after a few minutes : i've got a bug ... a few frames are played twice...
and then it de-sync ....

- i've tried to split the clip in 3 parts (because of the size : 4Gb) with more midi sync ...
OK but the prob still remain

- i've tried to reencode in photojpeg instead of DXV
Nothing better.

- I've tried to play the clip in bpm sync ... With beats long = Ableton measure x4
still the same probs...

- I check memory usage... processor usage ... disk Usage ... nothing significant here ...

Do someone got some ideas ???

20 views ... and No clues ...

Ok maybe i didn't explain enough ....

1 New Composition
1 Clip of 5 minutes ... from After effect (1920x1080 - 24 Frames / seconds ) encoded in DXV.

frames are always at 60 Fps

2~3 minutes of correct playing ... then 3 or 4 Frames are playing twice ...

I've got a Musician Band playing simultanuesly so the video isn't sync with the music anymore ...
That isn't good at all ....

Without any clues, i'll make a Vvvv Patch ... I'm sad to say that it can be useable for Dj gigs and archtectural mapping...
But what about playing real musician ...

But with a so simple configuration ... i'm sad to say that maybe Resolume isn't stable enough ...

This is very very strange behaviour, especially in BPM Sync this shouldn't happen. Can you record this happening (with your phone for example) and contact us directly about it? mail@resolume.com
