Start up error

Hello,

I had this same error while testing the trial version, but since I couldn't get any google hits with the error message, I figured it was probably a bad install.

Recently purchased my registration code, gave it a fresh new install.

Still getting the same error every time I start up Avenue. First error as soon as it starts, then the DirectSound error once it finishes loading preferences.

It also happens whenever I save a composition. any ideas on what could be causing it? every other feature seems to be working normally.

specs:
i7 3770k
680gtx
32gb ram
Windows 7 Pro 64

any help would be greatly appreciated. please let me know if I need to provide any additional info.

Could you contact us directly? You can do this via the feedback tab of the preferences. Make sure to check the box that includes your log file...

I sent the log as requested, hopefully it can help us figure out the source of the problem.
