Video capture slow

I can get video capture working in Resolume, from either a GeForce VIVO or a cheap TV card, but it's very slow, about 10-15 fps regardless of what the speed slider says or the capture settings. It also seems to be taxing the CPU to near 100%, on an Athlon 1400. Using Premiere or the TV card's own software, it's full resolution, full speed and uses very little CPU. What am I doing wrong?

nothing, the video capture support with resolume is limited to VFW compatible drives only and thay are a bit old an slow ... so wait for the version 1.1 update for better video capture support ...
