ableton individual tracks to arena

HI troops, Ive recently finished 10 audio-tracks for an installation,
and now have been asked to make reactive typographical,
content for the tracks.

Apart from converting audio to midi data using a plugin, like this

Is there any other way of routing the individual audio tracks in ableton songs to clips/layers in arena,
or is this [audio 2 midi data workaround] still the prefered method.

ATM for installation production, I am bouncing each audio songs individual audio tracks that i want to be reactive down in ableton, and importing the selected audio files from each track into arena where I have a template for each track, this makes sense as only 3 or 4 elements of the videos will be reactive, however for the future, and more complex multy layered work Im wondering what others solutions to this issue is?

Perhaps you could use the Livegrabber m4l devices from Showsync:

http://showsync.info/index.php/tools/livegrabber/

You can analyse each audio track and control parameters in Resolume via OSC from Live.
