Hi,
I´m new to the world of Resolume and I was wondering if it´s possible to broadcast live from Resolume to one or more iPads over wifi. I guess that what I need is to set up Resolume to act as a server/host and some sort of player/client installed in the iPad or iPads.
Basically, the idea is to use an iPad (ideally several iPads) as display or multi-displays.
I´ve seen several posts about doing the opposite i.e. live broadcast from iPad/iPhone´s camera to Resolume but it´s not what I want.
Is it possible? Has anyone tried this? Is there any Resolume plugin or similar to achieve this?
Thank you in advance.
Pablo

Very funny, I must admit

You can try using AirDisplay. AirDisplay devices will show in the Advanced Output as separate screens.
Framerates and delays are not what you might expect though...

http://www.getidisplay.com/, does pretty much the same thing as airdisplay but can be used on different os. Shows up as screen in advanced output;

splashtop xdisplay does the same thing to any ipads connected on the same network....
they're all fairly slow, but at low resolutions with a fast network you may achieve decent results

Hi,
Thank you for all your help. I tried AirDisplay yesterday and it´s kind of ok. It does drop some frames but nothing mayor to be honest, especially if you use low resolutions (640x480) which is ok for the project I´m working on.
One thing I noticed is that you can hock up only one device per computer so, it´s not good if you want to control more than one iPad at a time.
I´ll try iDisplay http://www.getidisplay.com and Splashtop xdisplay http://www.splashtop.com as suggested and come back to you with some feedback.
Thanks,
Pablo
