ATI FirePro v7900 video card

Hello everyone !
I just got this new video card it is a really powerful one. It has 2GB of memory and 4 displayport outputs. I use 4 active DP to DVI converters and i keep my monitor always connected to 1 of them (doesnt change). Whenever i connect a videoprojetor: 1- the monitor goes to a secondary desktop and 2- the videoprojector doesnt get any signal ... Whatever options i change it doesnt work and im kinda stuck right now because maybe i have just done a bad investment...
Can you please help me telling if there is any correct way of configuring the video card to work as it should with video projectors ???

Doesn't sound like the right active displayport adaptors. What brand and where did you get them?

maybe you need EDID managers with normal DP - DVI cables instead of the active adaptors.
