Hello
I'm having an issue with a blending of 4 projectors.
I have 4 projectors arranged in this manner
IMG_01
My problem is in the center where it joins the 4 projectors in color images has no problem, but in white have a very strange problem.
when images are colored the problem does not appear, only appears on the images white ..
I'm using 1 video card with 3 outputs ... one output goes to a triplehead, other output goes to the monitor and other output goes straight to the projector
Here are some pictures of what I mean.
I'm waiting for some help
grateful
4 blends problem
Re: 4 blends problem
I can see the same problem in both the color and the white images.
You need to adjust the blend settings to reduce the appearance of the bright cross where the images overlap.
I'd also suggest using the same overlap size for the H+V blends - as resolume hasn't got independent blend controls you need all your blends to be the same pixel overlap to work properly.
I would try and get the projectors aligned and blended on a flat screen first, once you have a good blend on a flat screen then you can try a warped surface.
Remember to visit the black level controls on the output transform tab.
Good luck, doing edge blends is a mix of magic, experience and trial / error. 4 way blends are always the most challenging, if your new to blending then i'd try some horizontal blends first before getting into 4 ways.
cheers

Re: 4 blends problem
thanks for the answer tom
but I already did all that you are suggesting, already lost several hours trying to adjust the blend, both in straight wall as the curve.
already tried decreasing and increasing porcetagem blend, but not worked
a pity resolume not even have the option to move the blend separated .. doing so greatly missed ..
working with video to 15 years and mapping the 5 years, I am not new to mapping, I have done all kinds of mapping
I work a lot with pandoras box .. but in this house we are using resolume ...
by pandoras box I can solve this problem very easily
thank you ..
but I'm still with the problem ..

Re: 4 blends problem
Use IR Mapio or the newer visution(I think) if you need to adjust specific sides independently.
