hello,
I am evaluating the purchase of Resolume and would like to know if it will work for what I need.
I'm riding a visual work, which will be exposed daily in a gallery indefinitely, perhaps for years.
Will be 5 projectors showing images (photos) on a Random slideshow. Also there must be a rhythm of input and output images for each projector, plus the time spent in each image, independent of the image, as the projection will be Random.
The distance from the projector to the screen is 6.35 m and the screen is 2.90m wide x 2,12 m height.
if you can help me decide which best setup of equipment, preferably controlled by a single computer, I will be very grateful. Money won't be a problem on that moment. I hope that Resolume works for that.
already grateful,
Toni
Resolume works for this?
Re: Resolume works for this?
Resolume is up to the job, yes, and much more than that.
Still it won´t do it alone - there´s no such "do it" button available yet.
Well, are you sure you will need 5 projectors? Your distance and screen measures tell me not.
With 5 projectors you will most probably need 5 video outputs. That may be a problem and not a Resolume issue. It is a hardware issue.
In the other hand, depending on the size and resolution of your images, Resolume Arena can be used to map your 5 images using 3, 2 or even 01 projector only. It is up to you to decide where it hurts.
About the ramdomness of the projection, I would create different video clips with your content ready, as desired.
You can set the rhythm addind some audio and setting the play to follow the audio BPMs.

Re: Resolume works for this?
thank you Felberg,
the screens are arranged to form a pentagon and with some distance between them. I suppose that's a problem for mapping from a single projector. Not?
is also important that the images are well aligned without distortion due to the position of the projector.
grateful
Antonio
