Question about activation. . .

Post by dpfen »

I'd like to jump on the 50% off sale this weekend, but am hesitating. I installed the demo on my desktop system a couple months back just to play around and test things out, and it's been running fine. But if I purchase a license, I want to install on my laptop instead. So I just installed on my laptop, but I've had a couple freezes where I had to kill the application, and some of the media that worked on my desktop isn't working on the laptop. I'm hopeful I can sort things out over time with video drivers, codecs, etc., but I'm worried that I only have one shot at installing the software. It looks like there is an online activation, and the software can only be installed on one computer. If it doesn't work out on my fastest laptop, then I'd like to install to an older laptop I have instead. But if only have one chance to get it right, and I choose wrong, then am I out of options?

Thanks,
Dan

Dan, you can "deactivate" and "reactivate" as much as you like, I transfer my license sometimes if I am doing a simple setup and I want to use a laptop, and then transfer it back to my main rig when doing larger setups. hope this helps.
