The Flash variables controlled by midi CC ARE indeed fantastic in version 2.0. Thanks guys!

Requests:
Please change speed scale to where "1" represents normal speed, 0.5 represents half speed and 2 represents full speed.

Please allow a user to type in the speed. As in "1.3" I have loops of a specific length...so if i know how fast the music is, then i can tune the clips to loop on the beat.

As mentioned by others, Please support 8 parameters going to Freeframe. Freeframe is huge. It lets people expand the program themselves. 8 parameters to flash would also be nice.

Please implement a "Metronome" with assignable curve.. sawtooth, sinwave etc. (ie tap function). I could see this parameter being assignable in the same way as the audio parameters.

Please implement a midi command and keyboard command to switch the tab of the loaded decks. (or did i miss something in the UI..could not find that)

Please Please Please allow me to assign effects to one of the three layers!!!! Im so used to that from using hardware and it is really nice. I want one layer with a special effect.. and then i can swap clips into that "mood". But maybe if enough people request it...

Despite the above wishes.. great work on 2.0 beta!

i love resolume, but i'm still hungry for more improvements:
better resolution options for recorded videos, and in general.
may be nice adding another movie types for saving recorded videos, like flash (swf) or quicktime.
a chaos function hotkey!
more customizable hotkeys for filters and layers
more customizable chaos options
custom choice of frame for using as preview of a clip (specially useful when flash files wont preview but blank images!)
and so on... keep on the edge, developers!

finally we had a chance to give 2.0 a fairly descent try. We're amazed! some minor bugs sofar, which I'll list in the near future.
But since we just bought a Behringer midi controller with the motorized faders, we have only one feature request:

Midi OUT for resolume.

IE if you assign a controller to a function, it would be really nice that when you adjust that function with your mouse (for example speed or oppacity) the value would be sent out to that same controller. That way the Behringer would always be in sync with the software.
The price is less then the edirol pcr30 and it is far more value for money.

SAVE AS

funktion, i like to make a deck, then modivy it and save it as an other name to create some kinds of sets,

is there a trick to do this with resolume 2.0 or should i use resolume 1.51 for this?

there is no trick for a save as ... we just have not build it yet. but thinking about it now it might be a good idea to make the save deck button right-clickable for save-as.

till we implement the save as funtion you can do the folowwing. Save your deck, close down resolume. Duplicate the deck files as many times as you want (decks are saved in the deck folder in the resolume install directory). Open resolume again and you wil have a few copies of the same deck.

the image quality of DV video is bad in comparison with version 1.51
i use a geforce card with the second monitor set to 720x576
in version 1.51 the image quality is perfect.
in version 2.0 beta the video looks like low resolution without antialiasing.

please midi out from resolume that would be so sweet, esp. with endless rotary knobs like the Behringer model (bcr2000) because if you make a change with your mouse the controller would be in perfect sync
with the program. Albeton Live is able to do this
i think this feature is vital,i know you guys have alot
on your plate as far as stuff to do,but please think about it

i tried! coping the decks!! but didnt work! the decks are show in decks but i cant load them

same problem when copying my old 1.51 decks to the decks folder, they are shown but i cant load the deck, also no other clips are played, until i clear the deck folder from the 1.51 decks
