any way? to modify skin / GUI

Hello all,

now that I'm mostly using Avenue (Grand VJ only via Syphon for non-supported video formats) / love being able to use double outputs ...

... I more & more am frustrated by the current skin:

* lack of contrast (scrollbars grey on black??)
* crucial click areas (kill layer; whole-column trigger) too small
* can only get about 4 layers in one view; have to vertically scroll for the 5th
* etc.

Yes, I do also use TouchOSC on an Android tablet;
plus keyboard shortcuts,
plus even VNC on the tablet (with or without the nice iDisplay app)

I don't really find TouchOSC so practical, because I keep adapting RA-templates, affecting the TouchOSC template.
Using VNC on a TouchScreen is the best for me, however for that several click areas are way too small.

The questions:
- am I missing something? Can I already tweak the skin / GUI?
- will Resolume improve the skin / deliver several (improved) skins users can choose from
- and/or will Resolume open up the skin, enabling users to modify it for themselves (xml etc.)
An obvious example for a totally skinnable and somewhat-related product would be VirtualDJ.

Really ? No one have an answer? "Can't be done" would even be informative.
Any support, to promote this request to the developers?

I would love to control RA on a touchscreen (take laptop/MBP, hook up this USB-monitor with touchscreen /Mimo Magic Touch/ and control RA like that). IF ONLY those crucial click (touch) areas wouldn't be so abnormally small ...

You maybe get no answer because it already had been discussed a couple of times....and no one has the energy to reply again with "use the search function"

As far as I know there are no plans for a customisable GUI....But there are some guys including me who would like to have a possibility to f*** up the GUI... . But to be realistic: There are much more important things to work on for the Resolume team.

(just mentioning "Emulator" is not really helpful).

Well I don't know the dev agenda, but claiming that doing anything (either via Prefs or a full-fledged user-skinnable approach like Virtual DJ has had for 10 years already) on a gray on black (??) GUI with the tiniest click/touch areas for vital things and .... is not important enough ... I beg to differ.

That's why (in hindsight, I admit) not using Search enough, and starting this topic, is justified as opposed to not bringing it up at all, because "it will never happen anyway". Something should! happen, I am still convinced.

Emulator ... if I picked up the right one ... of no use to me: Windows-only, even for Tablets (no iOS, no Android).
No mention of something like OSC over Wifi.
I already use TouchOSC and its editor on Android tablet, which works with RA.
Still, having VNC / RDP on Tablet with the actual RA showing (and those bigger touch areas ) would be soooo much easier. Yes I like it lazy

Continuing to read about Emulator ... confusing website. Seems like there used to be a non-Pro version, for Mac OS. No longer on the site. Mention of Android, but can't find it in Google Play.
