Hi everyone,
i'm facing a little problem, and i'm sure it can be resolved very easily... i just cannot find out how.
situation is this:
i have a light/video setup for a show. e:cue as master and vvvv as slave, only playing videos and sounds.
now i want to change the videopart to resolume for easier handling.
i tried to connect e:cue and resolume with dmx and a enttec usb pro and it works fine with the automap. the problem is, i cannot use the first 140 channels, because they are already in the setup.
and now comes my question: i want to map a different channel to the column-trigger (automap channel 5) but i cannot get it done with the dmx-map feature. i can only select one channel per column (what would make it again 100+ dmx-channels) which is a total waste, when i can trigger the columns with the values of one channel.
am i just to stupid to figure out how to do that?
thanks in advance for your help...
DMX Map
Re: DMX Map
There's two ways you can do this.
You can assign a single channel to all columns. When you enter Comp DMX map, you can assign a channel to the little area that pops up to the left of the columns.
Also, you could raise the DMX AutoMap offset to skip the first 140 channels and start at channel 141. Depending on what else you need, your universe might not be big enough though.

Re: DMX Map
The Channel Offset is in the manual. The Column Channel mapping is strictly advanced knowledge
