When using audio automation on a parameter, the selection bar uses a 0-1 system to denote the frequency range being used. Could we make that in Hz, ex 20hz-100hz for bass frequencies? That will make the audio nerds in attendance, including myself very happy. Thanks

Re: Audio Automation Units
Hmmm. That would make sense. We figure that most people dial these numbers in by eyeballing it. Would you really use it based on the absolute frequency range?
Not saying that that's the wrong way to do it, just trying to find out how people are actually using this feature...

Re: Audio Automation Units
I would used it by actually frequency range, but I was a sound guy long before i did video

Re: Audio Automation Units
its possible to eyball if the range is shown in frequenze, but it´s impossible to catch the exact freuquenc with 0-100 range.
So why not replace it with a frequenz scale.

Re: Audio Automation Units
This could be very useful if you prepare a gig without actual audio input.

Re: Audio Automation Units
Thanks for chiming in, everyone. We'll add this to our to-do list.
Re: Audio Automation Units
It'd be nice to be able to type the frequency in as well
Re: Audio Automation Units
I believe this would be standard functionality, since you can type in existing value boxes.DayVeeJay wrote:It'd be nice to be able to type the frequency in as well
While the Res team is granting wishes-
That little rta graph that we will soon be choosing frequencies on sure is pretty...
real pretty...
pretty enough to be on screen as a source...I have some content that is basically that (rta/fft/eq style metering) but of course it has no relation to the music actually being played. And since it seems like the hard work of coding an rta visual is already done...
Thanks Gentlemen

Alex Bigfug has some FFT plugins available if you're into that stuff: http://www.bigfug.com/product-category/ ... e-plugins/
