Resolume Composition Clip Collector Application

Post by j4s0n.c »

My girlfriend made this for me ;) ...and the website, too.

**Edit the .config file for source and destination. Copies all clips in a comp. to the new folder for moving around and such.

let us know if it's useful.

hmm...nice idea... but I am sorry, it does not work for me. for now.
It stops after collecting two files. :?

EDIT//
Now I know why! Your program does not collect files with spacegaps in their filename and it interrupt the collect process when a file can not be found.

Hey Cosmowe,
Can I suggest the options to create (sub)folders based one of the following...

1. File location
2. Deck
3. Dump all files into the same directory

Wow! I checked on this post a couple times after I made it and was disappointed that no one cared. I guess I was wrong! Now I see the option to be notified when someone replies. :?

Awesome little GUI and I like the options you are adding. I just ran it then opened the comp and fixed all the clips in Resolume. Didn't think to just fix the xml. Nice.

I knew I couldn't be the only one with poor file management skills ;)

My cue controller application now features Clip collection, Win and Mac.

- copies files to selected directory(dumps all files in one directory),
- corrects paths in the composition file and includes it in the selcted directory,
- corrects some unicode characters in file names to be more portable,
- collection runs in the background,
- files with same filename will only be copied once,
- and works in unregistered mode :)

give it a try: Download it form http://controller.palffyzoltan.hu
