As long as you computer sees it as a monitor it should work no problems but don't expect to get good quality especially with a USB2 to VGA adapter.

USB to VGA/DVI are pretty hit and miss. Having them recognised by your system is not a complete guarantee that they will work with accelerated graphics / Resolume.

For instance...

This one works a charm: http://www.club-3d.com/index.php/produc ... apter.html

This one does not: www.evga.com/uvplus/ ( it even crashes Visual Studio ! )

If at all possible, try with Resolume before you buy!

Good to know!

I personally stay away with such graphics adapter and instead I use the following adapters when I need more screens:

- Good - 2 HD screens (1920x1080 only): ZOTAC (Mini-)DisplayPort to Dual HDMI
- Better - 2 or 3 screen: Matrox double or triple heads
- Best - 4 screens: Datapath X4
- Crazy - up to 32 screens: Datapath DL8 combined with up to 8 Datapath X4
